What a Steam account lookup shows
Every profile you look up gets six tabs:

Which Steam ID formats can I search with?
A full profile URL, a custom URL name, a SteamID64 (7656...), a legacy ID like STEAM_0:0:11101 or a SteamID3 like [U:1:22202]. A display name only works if it matches the account's custom URL.
Are free-to-play games included in the stats? Yes, if the player has played them. Steam leaves free games out by default, and these tools ask for them.
How is the account value worked out? It's an estimate, because Steam doesn't publish what anyone paid. Each owned game counts at a flat rate, games with 2 or more hours count a bit more, and estimated spend is set 35% above that to reflect full retail prices.
