How to see your PlayStation Wrap-Up

Every December PlayStation puts out a Wrap-Up, its version of a year in review, with your total hours, top games by playtime, and trophies. It is genuinely good, but it is only live for a few weeks and it trips people up every single year. Here is how to find it, why it sometimes will not load, and how to get a recap when the official one has closed.

Cannot wait for December, or want a past year? Our PlayStation Wrap-Up tool builds a recap from your public trophy activity any time of year.

When it goes live (and when it closes)

This is the single most important thing to know, and it is what catches most people out. The Wrap-Up runs on a fixed campaign window. In the most recent cycle, the 2025 Wrap-Up went live on December 9, 2025 and the entire thing closed on January 8, 2026. After that date it is gone, not hidden, gone, which is why r/playstation fills with people asking why the link is dead in mid-January. If it is any other time of year, that is your answer.

How to find it

  1. Watch for the email PlayStation sends when it launches, which links straight to your Wrap-Up.
  2. Or go to the PlayStation Wrap-Up website while signed in to your account.
  3. Sign in with the same account you play on, and your personalized recap loads with your top five games by playtime, number of games played, trophies, and more.

You need to be signed in, and you need enough play activity that year for PlayStation to build a recap.

Why it is not working

A few usual causes when the Wrap-Up will not load:

  • It is out of season. By far the most common reason. It only exists from early December to early January. Some players even get the promo email after the window has already closed, which is confusing but normal.
  • You are signed into the wrong account. Use the account you actually play on, not a secondary one.
  • Not enough activity. If you barely played that year, there may not be enough data to generate a recap.
  • Launch-week load. In the first day or two it can be slow or briefly down. Wait and try again.

You cannot see past years, and that annoys people

Worth setting expectations: the official Wrap-Up does not archive. Once a campaign ends, there is no built-in way to pull up last year's, which is a long-standing complaint going back years on r/PS4. Trophy hunters have also grumbled that recent Wrap-Ups feel cut down from the old month-by-month version.

Getting a recap any time

The official Wrap-Up is the only source for your true total hours, since PlayStation keeps playtime private. But if you want a recap outside December, or for an earlier year, our Wrap-Up tool assembles one from your public trophies: the games you played, trophies earned, and platinums landed. It will not show hours the way Sony's does, but it captures your year and runs whenever you want it, which is exactly the gap the official one leaves.

The all-time view

Wrap-Up is a single year. For your lifetime totals, the trophy tracker has your full trophy count and every platinum you have earned.
